**Fundstelle:** Letzter Satz — „The Fuji series is not an homage. It is a long observation of one thing from one distance. What changes is the air between me and it."
**Befund:** „the air between me and it" ist eine Metapher die trägt, aber sie ist weicher als mein Register. Sie sagt: was sich ändert ist der Zustand der Atmosphäre zwischen mir und dem Berg. Das ist korrekt und auch konkret gemeint — Dunst, Wolken, Licht, Jahreszeit. Aber „air between me and it" klingt ein bisschen poetisch-pathetisch, als ob ich das Verhältnis romantisiere.
